At the home of her only living child, Rachel Lairson died yesterday evening, shortly before 7 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Owen Martin at The Plains, after an illness of about two weeks from hemorrhages of the lungs. She was 78 years of age. Mrs. Lairson was the wife of Abel Lairson who died several years ago. To them were born four children of whom only one survives. Preceding her in death are her husband and children; Ethel (1855-1860), Eliza (1856-1888), William M. (1858-1891), and Emma Jane - 1861-1913) The funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Martin at 2 o'clock, Friday afternoon and at 7:30, Saturday morning, the body will be taken to Stewart, Ohio for burial.
