She was born July 1, 1904, in Waterville, the daughter of James and Delina (Loubier) Rancourt.
Mrs. Lightbody had been a legal secretary for Attorney Dubord and other attorneys. She loved to travel and talked about her trip to Rome where she attended Mass with the Pope.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Lt. Col. Raymond Lightbody; brothers, Emile, Arthur, Alphonse, Albert and Napolean; sisters, Stella Butler, Alva Pomerleau and Regina Boutin; and a niece, Annette Pomerleau.
Committal prayers will be recited at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at Fr. Leonard LeClair Memorial Chapel, Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
