Frank Kearney, a retired farmer, died Sunday, December 16th, at this home in Ithaca after a long illness. Mr. Kearney was a native of Richland county, having been born here November 17, 1870, and passed at the age of 81 years. His parents were John and Dianna Ghering Kearney.
Rev. D.O. Dietzman officiated at the funeral services which were held Tuesday afternoon at the Pratt Funeral Home. Burial was in Willow Valley cemetery.
Survivors include Mrs. Kearney, two sons Joseph of Milwaukee, and Irvin of Avoca; four daughters, Mrs. Nellie Brunner and Mrs. Carrie Moore, Plymouth, Mich.; Mrs. Iva Walker, Iowa, and Mrs. Alice Gault, Portage; and three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Gibbsons, Mrs. Betty McMahon, and Mrs. Walter Gray, all residing in California.
Mr. and Mrs. Kearney celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August.
