Maliva was the daughter of Jean and Malvina Girardin Lizotte. The widow of Emmanuel Cote Sr.,who died June 17, 1982. She married Emmanuel Cote on Feburary 12, 1923. Together they had 20 children. She was employed as a spinner for Bates Manufacturing.
A former parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Sabattus,Maine, Mrs. Cote was a communicant of St.Anne's Church while living in Hartford.
