Mrs. Minnie A. Wagner, 92, formerly of 2205 S. 9th Street, Manitowoc, died Saturday, 20 January 1991, at Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
She was born June 7, 1899, in the town of Meeme, Wis,. Daughter of the late August H. and Emma (née Blumenstein) Kolwey. She attended schools in Valders.
She married William F. Wagner of October 2, 1920, in Waukegan, Illinois; he died ten years ago, in 1981.
Minnie was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ and the Ladies Aide, as well as a member of Wisconsin Pioneer Family who immigrated from Prussia in 1850. Their names were Carl and Wilhelmina Gunther Blumenstein and granddaughter of Henry and Wilhelmina Wehausen Kollway [changed to Kolwey?].
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William and Mary Lou Wagner of Cato; a daughter, Virginia Christman of Manitowoc; three granddaughters, Stephanie and husband, Dennis Halloran of Richmond, Virginia, Linda and husband Alan Ruppelt of Plymouth, Minnesota, Corlis and Richard McKitrick [sic] of Manitowoc; five great grandchildren, Sarah and Mark Ruppelt, Becky and Sybel Hollran, Erin McKitrick; two brothers-in-law, and a sister-in-law, Raymond Van Calligan of Sheboygan, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wagner of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1981, a son-in-law, Jack Christman, three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm. Tuesday at First Reformed United Church of Christ with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
Memorials may be made to First Reformed United Church of Christ or donors choice.
