FLORENCE C. WONDRASH

Florence C. Wondrash, age 88, a resident of Harmony of Two Rivers, formerly of 1034 27th St., Two Rivers, died early on Monday morning, Aug. 27, 2007, at Harmony of Two Rivers.

Florence was born on June 9, 1919, in Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Sayeski) Gronoski. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School, and Washington High School, Two Rivers, graduating with the class of 1936.

On Aug. 30, 1941, she married Joseph J. Wondrash in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1983.

Florence worked for the Metal Ware Corporation and Schwartz Manufacturing Company, both of Two Rivers, for a number of years.

She was a former member of the Ladies of Sacred Heart Church; and she enjoyed walking, playing cards and time spent with her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law: Henry LuMaye; one brother: Sylvester Gronoski; and a brother-in-law: Wally Culligan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William G. O'Brien, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, after 9 a.m. on Thursday until the time of mass at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation. Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Wondrash family with funeral arrangements.
