(1946 - 2024)

Sandra A. "Sandi" (Wondrash) LuMaye, age 77, lifelong resident of Two Rivers, entered eternal rest at her home on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

Sandi was born in Two Rivers on April 20, 1946 to Joseph and Florence (Gronoski) Wondrash. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in 1960 and from Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1964. Following graduation, she worked at Paragon Electric for seven years.
It was during this time that she married Cletus (Henry) LuMaye on August 30, 1969 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Henry preceded her in death May 2nd, 1997.
On March 30, 1971, Sandi gave birth to her son Rod, the love of her life.

After years of being a devoted wife and mother, Sandi took on babysitting duties for Lisa (Thielbar) Born and part-time work at the Lighthouse Inn from 2000-2009. She was a longtime member of the Ladies Sodality of Sacred Heart, now the Ladies of St. Peter the Fisherman; and T.P.A. (Travelers Protective Association).

Sandi is survived by and will be deeply missed by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Rod and Michelle LuMaye of Two Rivers; her two grandchildren: Emily Banaszysnki (fiance, Karl) of Spokane, WA, and her greatest birthday present, Jaiden LuMaye (fiance, Dakota) of Two Rivers; one brother, Jeff Wondrash; special niece, Kim VanDenPlas and her daughter, Grace; and a special goddaughter/niece, Deb (Darold) VanEss and their children. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Judy LuMaye (who was just like a sister); very special friend, Nancy Pietroske; sisters-in-law: Kristin Wondrash and Jean Wondrash; other sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Florence Wondrash; her husband, Henry; brothers: Robert (Bob) Wondrash and Tom Wondrash; and a special brother-in-law, Harold LuMaye.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Rev. Brian Belongia will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will take place in the Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.

Friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers, Friday evening, February 2nd from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. to conclude the evening. Visitation will continue at the church Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

The funeral service will be live streamed on the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church website or St. Peter the Fisherman Facebook page.
