Date of birth may be wrong. Mary was born about 1791. In her father Daniel Curstead aka Daniel Custard's Will he states that his oldest child is William Ward Custead. He got one dollar. Mary, also, got one dollar. They were on the outs with their father. William, Mary, Daniel Jr., and Suzanne dropped the dropped the r in their surname. Daniel changed his surname to Custord then to Custard. Family records state that William was born in 1788. The 1790 U.S. Federal Census for the Daniel Custord aka Daniel Curstead household states that he had one child. The 1800 U.S. Federal Census states that Daniel had two daughters younger than 10 years old. They are Mary Ward Custead and Susanna Curstead aka Susanna Custead aka Susan Custard. Mary and Wlliam and Mary are not in the 1810 Federal Census for their Daniel's household. Mary married Aaron Silverthorn in 1813 in Etobicoke, York, Upper Canada(now Ontario, Canada).
