Nellie married first to Clarence Miller 30 Mar 1891 in Perrinton, Gratiot, Michigan. Both were singles. His parents were Charles Wesley Miller and Rosetta Bush (aka Emma Rosette Bush, daughter of William Watson Bush and Content Grimes). Nellie and Clarence were cousins. Her sister Alice E Bush was a witness. They were of the Gospel. Congregational.

Nellie and Clarence had two sons Max William Miller and Rex Wesley Miller. Clarence died in 1916.

She remarried to William Marshall Munden on 10 Sep 1920 in Pierce County, Washington.
