William Henry BUSH, one of 12 children, the second youngest, was born to William Watson BUSH and Content GRIMES on 18 Aug 1838 in Pompey, Onondaga, New York. He was the 11th of 12 children. His father died in 1849, leaving him, his mother, and siblings Isaac, Rosette, and Lester, behind. Also, his sister Charlotte and her husband Morris lived in the same household. The older siblings were already married and on their own.
