TOWN OF MEEME PIONEER DIES AT HOSPITAL
Death was victor today over Mrs. Michael Madigan, town of Meeme pioneer who has been a patient at the hospital for two months suffering from complications. Mrs. Madigan made brave fight against death but her age and weakness from her illness made it a losing fight.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 930 at St. Isadore’s church at Osman, the Rev. Schmidt officiating. Mrs. Madigan was born in Newton 59 years ago on February 5 and with exception of two years during which she was a resident of this city, had always made her home in Meeme.
She is survived by her husband and five children, Mrs. Matthew Wagner, Mrs. John Holfetz and Donald Madigan this
city; Walter Madigan, Liberty and Mrs. Andrew Schnell, Kiel.
