Hazel Barger, 87, of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, in Italy, Texas. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Haven of Memories Cemetery, Canton, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2013, at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
Hazel was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Pat Patterson and Mattie Nash Patterson. Hazel loved everyone and everyone loved her. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo, and she loved her jewelry. She loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lynn Barger; son, James Davis; and brothers, Leroy Patterson and Durwood Patterson.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Gray and her husband, Ronney, of Waxahachie, Ramona Davis and her husband, Kenny, of Mansfield; grandchildren, Lisa Wooldridge and husband, Wayne, Heather Gray, Mandy Harris and husband, Damian, Jr., Jeremy Davis and wife, Erika; her great-grandchildren, Gavin Wooldridge, Sienna Wooldridge, Maverick Wendler and Damian Harris, III; sister-in-law, Tina Patterson, of Searcy, Ark; nephews, Mark Patterson and his wife, Janice, and Larry Patterson and his wife, Becky, both of Searcy, Ark; many other relatives and friends.
