Anton Caesar, 71, of 1632 NE 15, retired city sheet metal worker, died of cancer at 10:30 am Thursday at St Anthony Hospital. Caesar was a native of Czechoslavokia and was born Jun 28, 1876. After his marriage he came to the United States and directly to Oklahoma City in 1910.

For 30 years he was a sheet metal worker for Swanda Brothers Sheet Metal Co. He retired about three years ago and had been ill since last May. Five of his sons own and operate the Caesar Florist Shop at 1502 NE 23.

Caesar was a member of the Western Bohemian Fraternal Association #109 and the Catholic Church. He was a communicant of Corpus Christi parish.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs Mary Caesar, of home; two daughters, Mrs Mary Trochta, 711 NE 23; and Mrs Agnes Andrews, home; six sons, Jim, 2123 N Kate; Anton Jr, 836 Ne 23; Roy, who operates a florist shop at his home, 1733 N Kate; Joe, 2123 N Kate; Stanley, Midwest City; Ernest, 1434 NE 24; a sister, Mrs Franca Swanda, 1204 E Park; and 14 grandchildren.
