Mr. Charles Winston Day, 61, of Nelson, VA entered eternal rest Monday, May 12, 2008 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA.
Mr. Day was born in Mecklenburg County, VA Sept. 10, 1946 to the late Piercie C. and Tassie Maude Ethel Williamson Day.
He was a graduate of West End High School and a member of Wharton Memorial Baptist Church, Nelson, VA.
He was an original member of the Averette Community Young Adult Choir, a member of the Men's Chorus and a member of the Senior Choir. He was employed by Burlington Industries for 38 years.
Mr. Day was preceded in death by one daughter, Katherine Renee Day.
