Lester Lloyd Dupree of Rossville died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004 in a local hospital. He was 73 years of age. He was born Feb. 12, 1936 Whitfield County to Walter and Bessie Warren Dupree. He was a member of Burning Bush Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Lester Lloyd Dupree Jr. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Cheryl Faye Osa Dupree; sons, Joseph Lester Dupree of Tunnel Hill, Thomas Andrew Dupree, Jeffrey Eugene Dupree, both of Ringgold; daughters, Kathy Virginia Dupree Smith of Tunnel Hill, Cristy Michelle Dupree Reynolds of Ringgold; brothers, Virgil Dupree of Dalton, Raymond Dupree of Ringgold, Robert Dupree of Apison, Tenn.; sisters, Wilda Mae Dupree Bramblett, Zelma Dupree Trantham, both of Dalton, Dimple Dupree Terrell of Tunnel Hill; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services: Saturday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. at Burning Bush Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce Cappleman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Burning Bush Baptist Church.
