Peggy Jane Eldridge, 87, of McAlester, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at a local nursing home. The family will have private services at a later date. Services are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Born Oct. 18, 1925, in McAlester, she was the daughter of A.C. and Maud Jane Allison Altman. She attended schools in McAlester and graduated from McAlester High School. She married Joe Eldridge and they lived in Harlingen, Texas, for 45 years. She moved back to McAlester about eight years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Jan McFadden, of McAlester; grandson and wife, Cary and Becky McFadden, of Wilburton; granddaughter and husband, Kami and Brian Jiles, of McAlester; great-grandson Heath Jiles, of McAlester; great-granddaughters Kristina Jiles and Lance Lovett, of McAlester; great-great-grandsons Colton Moore, of Kiowa and Conner Lovett, of McAlester, and great-great-granddaughter, Jayci Lovett and Aughtum Lovett of McAlester. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joe Eldridge.
