Altan Rites

Last rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Seydler-Hill Chapel for Frank L. Altman, who died in Memorial Hospital Wednesday at 5 p.m.
The Rev. Owen McGarity of the First Presbyterian church, will conduct the services with burial in Gonzales Memorial Park.
Mr. Altman was born in McAlester, Okla., on November 25, 1908, to A. Cary Altman of Indiana, and Nell Mumaw of Kansas. He was a retired commercial airline pilot and a member of the First Presbyterian church. He was also a member of the Hill City Lodge No. 456 of Austin, Ben Hur Shrine 32nd degree Mason.
He was married to Temple and Quiet Birdman, a pilots organization; and was a Juanita Whitely on September 9, 1945 and she survives him. Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Patrica) Baker of Brewster, N.Y., Mrs. Steven (Carol) Gray of Dallas, and Mrs. Lida Altman of Austin; five grandchildren; one son, George Frank Altman of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Joe (Peggy) Eldrige of Harlingen; and two brothers, Bill of McAlester, Okl., and Roger Altman of Corpus Christi.
Pallbearers were, Warren DuBose, Robert Vackar, Keith Gerig, Fred Young, Bill Johnson, and John Paul Jones.
