Mrs. Harry Crow Taken In Death

Mrs. Harry O. Crow, 78, 104 S. Third St., died suddenly Saturday at 7:35 p.m. at the Nelson Nursing home.

A lifetime resident of Jefferson county, she had been in failing health for six years.

Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral home in charge of Dr. C. R. Douglass. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

The former Mary Chidester, Mrs. Crow was born in Jefferson coutny Aug. 9, 1884, the daughter of Frank and Ellen Wisecarver Chidester. She attended Fairfield public schools and Parsons college academy.

She was married to Harry O. Crow Dec. 21, 1919. She was a teacher in the Fairfield school for many years and also served as assistant county superintendent of schools. She was a member of the Christian church and Chapter HA, PEO.

Surviving are her husband and one sister, Mrs. John Teeter, Burlington.
