She was the daughter of William N. Gunter, Sr. and Pheobe Hodges of Lincoln County, TN. She married Alexander G. Noah on 24 July 1845, in Lincoln Co., TN, and in 1847 they moved to Attala County, MS. This is a notation I found on her from another researcher:Tart little Scotswoman who lived to be almost a hundred. Her early death was caused by a slip on the ice and a broken hip.
