Priscilla Rowe Gudger, 66, of Albany, IN, was called home on Dec. 3, 2010. She was born in Muncie, IN, the daughter of Garrett A. and Phyllis A. (Taylor) Rowe.
She was married on July 15, 1976 to Samuel L. Gudger in Muncie, IN. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Rev. Robert (Bobby) Rowe, Joseph L. Rowe, Gary R. Rowe; and two sisters, Garretta J. Morrow and Mary M. Wolfe.
She is survived by her husband, Sanuel L. Gudger; one brother, Ralph E. Rowe (Connie); two daughters, Priscilla Lynise Hammond and Danielle A. Gudger; special niece who always went above and beyond to help, Carol V. Jackson; stepson, Anthony L. Gudger (Verna); nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special cousins, Jean Wright, Cynthia Bass, Janice Collier, Atha Thomas, Linda and James Caldwell, Madeline McCowan; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Bobby) Rowe, Sandra (Gary) Rowe, Frances (Joseph) Rowe, and Ocie Rowe; special friends, Melita Gholston and Elke Thiel; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services are at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Union Missionary Baptist Church, Muncie, IN. Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Pastor W.J. Jackson will be officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
