NESS CITY-Ben Schlegel, 65, died Friday at
the Ness County Hospital after a short illness

Born June 1, 1906 at Otis, he was a farmer
and lived here since 1921.

He was a member of the United Methodist
Church, Ness City.

Survivors include brothers: Leo, Alamota;
Walter and Wesley, Ness City; sisters: Mrs.
August Utzcnbergcr, Jetmore; Mrs. Herbie
Schlegel, Ft. Stockton, Tex.; Viola Schlegel,
Ness City.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the church;
Rev. Merlin Norman. Burial will be in Buda
Cemetery, Beeler. The family suggests
memorials to the hospital in care of Fitzgerald
Funeral Home, Ness City.
