'Cotton' Gibbs
Bonham - Graveside services for Fred "Cotton" Gibbs, 86-year-old Bonham farmer and rancher, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Duplex Cemetery. He died Monday at Mullican Nursing Home in Savoy.
The Rev. Mickey Lyles will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.
Mr. Gibbs was born in Morganton, N.C., the son of Joseph Knox Gibbs and Hettie Carolyn Jaynes Gibbs. He married Opal Fern Snodgrass Jan. 16, 1932, in Hugo, Okla.
He was a Methodist.
Surviving are [edited for privacy], three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
