Roberta Colter Martin, 42, Tallahassee, passed away April 3, 2013 in Tallahassee.
A daughter of the late Edward Jackson Colter and Shirley Revell Colter, who survives, she was born August 22, 1970 in Sarasota, Florida. She was a Functional Class Coordinator with the Florida Department of Transportation for 23 years.
In addition to her mother, Shirley Revell Colter, Conway, SC, she is survived by her husband of 17 years, Toby Martin, Tallahassee; son, Nicholas Wayne Colter, Tallahassee; stepsons, Blake McDowell and Joshua Warren, both of Conway, SC; sister, Ruth Ekker, Raeford, NC; half-sisters, Brenda Kelley, Clermont, FL, Donna Downing, Charleston, SC, Margie Hatfield, Lecanto, FL; special aunts, Carrie Davis and Audrey Hiers, both of Sopchoppy, FL. She is also survived by two special pets, Georgie and Chloe.
She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Eddie Colter.
