Ruby Eva Sargent died on September 11, 1965 when she was dead on arrival at the Randolph Clinic from a heart attack. She was born on October 11, 1906 in Braintree, VT; the daughter of Roy Eldon and Eva Emma (Bingham) Abbey.

She married Harold Sargent on November 9, 1925 in Randolph.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Florence Adeline Abbey and Stella Alice Winot.

She is survived by her husband, siblings Donald Abbey, Victor Abbey, Grace E Abbey, Ruby Abbey, Frank C Abbey, Esther C Abbey, Freeman Abbey, Helen R Abbey, and Arlene Thelma Abbey.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
