Montgomery, Ala, Sept 26-While posing on his horse for a picture, Private Harry Deems, of Muncie, Ind., attached to ordnance troops, was thrown into the Alabama rivere today and drowned. Kendallville, Ind., Sept 27-Relatives here recieved word yesterday that Corporal Harry Deems, a former Kendallville boy, was drowned Thursday at Camp Sheridan, Alabama.
