OBITUARY
Mrs. Catherine Burton, wife of Lyman Burton, died Saturday night at 11:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Clapper, No. 23 Dewitt Street, of Bright's disease, from which she had suffered for the past several years.
Mrs. Burton had lived in this city for the past fifteen years and was a highly respected resident of the south side. The illness which resulted in her death set in about a week ago.
Beside her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edward Clapper and Mrs. Julia Robinson, of this city, and Mrs. Jennie Flagler, of Delmar; one son, William Burton of Schoharie; four sisters, Mrs. Alexander Basler, of Utica, Mrs. Rebekah Miller, of New Haven, Conn., Mrs. William Earle, of Middleburg, and Mrs. Elmer France, of Howes Cave, and two brothers, John Loucks, of Cobleskill, and William Loucks, of Middleburg.
There will be a prayer service at the house this evening at 8 o'clock the Rev. J. H. Kyle officiating. The remains will be taken tomorrow morning to Schoharie, where the funeral will be held at 1 o'clock in the afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The interment will be at Schoharie.
