Isabella Ann Bennett, born 1783 in St. Johns, NFLD, baptized on 16 July 1788 in Harbour Grace, Bay de Herb.

Daughter of Stephen Bennett (1750-1831) and Hannah Barnes (1757-1800), married John Benjamin Cox on 11 October 1805, with whom she had children James, Sarah (m. Edward Mineard), Hannah (m. Lambert Forward), Stephen, and Frederick Horatio Cox (m. Ann Ellen Read).

She died on 12 January 1867 in Burgeo, NFLD.

February 6, 1867 (Death) Suddenly at Burgeo, on Saturday morning last, (Jan 12th) aged 84 years, Isabella Ann, wife of John Benjamin COX, Sr., formerly of St. John's. Buried January 1867 in Sandbanks Cemetery, Burgeo, Newfoundland.
