Faye Mohon-Stallings Obituary
MOHON-STALLINGS, MRS. FAYE, age 75, of Birmingham (Pinson), died Saturday, February 1, 2003. Mrs. Stallings had resided on Jackson Road in the Pinson Community since 1941. She was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verlin S. Stallings, a son, Samuel Timothy Stallings, a daughter, Nancy Faye Stallings, and a brother, Jack Roscoe Mohon Jr. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel Funeral Home in Birmingham. Rev. Morris "Buddy" Mohon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memory Cemetery in Birmingham. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel in Birmingham. Survivors include: Daughter, Vivian Stallings, Florida; 2 Brothers and Sisters-in-Law, Rev. Morris "Buddy" and Jean Mohon, Andalusia, Lex and Ganell Mohon, Gulf Port, Mississippi; Sister-in-Law, Sue Mohon, Locus Fork, Alabama; 4 Grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons Ministry. Ridout's Roebuck Chapel directing.
