WARWICK
Betty J. Rivers, 59, of Gaspee Point, died yesterday while vacationing at the Bowdish Lake Camp Ground, Glocester.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John G. and Marie (Powers) Bishop, she lived in Warwick most of her life.
She leaves three daughters, Betty White, Linda A. Allen and Dale A. Sicard, all of Warwick; three sons, James R. Silvia of Cranston, Robert W. Silvia and Harry R. Rivers Jr., both of Warwick; three sisters, Connie Daddario of Revere, Mass., Louise Fougere of Warwick and Anne Coleman of Plainville, Mass.; a brother, William Bishop of Attleboro, and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at a time to be announced at Pawtuxet Memorial Park. Burial will follow.
