HELTONVILLE - Reatha L. (Blackwell) Seiverling, 84, of Heltonville died at 5:03 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford. Born on September 21, 1920, she was the daughter of Noah Everett and Dertha (Todd) Blackwell. She married John Seiverling and he preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and she retired from RCA in Bloomington. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Ida Seiverling of Heltonville; three brothers, Ray Blackwell and his wife Essie Dell of Heltonville and Wayne Blackwell and his wife Roberta and Darrell Blackwell and his wife Glee, all of Bedford; two sisters, Cleta Murphy of Norman and Betty Todd of Heltonville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Seiverling; one son, Jerry Blackwell; one brother, Marion Blackwell; and three sisters, Marie Fish, Wilma Allen and Lena Murphy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home of Heltonville with Pastor James Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
