" Mrs. Agnes Roe Tucker, aged 72 years, passed away at her home in Petersburg at 2:30 o'clock on Friday afternoon, january 24, after a short illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Tucker was born January 22, 1869, in Deerfield, and lived in this vicinity until 15 years ago. She was united in marriage to Hiram Tucker April 25, 1895, and she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward Miller, of Monroe, and Mrs. Jessie Weyher, at home; a sister, Mrs. Hiram Theeke, of this place; two brothers, Julius and Fred Roe, and seven grandchildren. One daughter preceded her in death. The funeral was held from St. Alphonsus church on Monday morning, January 27, at 9:30, with Rev. Fr. Geo. Kerby officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery."
According to Rodney Morris, "Headstone shows 1867 even though obit says 1869 and her age of 72 would suggest 1869."
