Mrs. Joseph Brunner 74, (photo), of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died Sunday morning at
her home following an unexpected heart attack. Funeral services will be at
9:30 am Wednesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and 10 am at St. Joseph
Catholic Church, Silver Lake. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born Margaret Boyle on September 26, 1882 at Chilton, Wis., the daughter
of the late Louis and Bridget McCabe Boyle. In 1903 she was married to Mr. Brunner
and a year later the couple moved to the present address. She was a member of the
Christian Mothers Society and the Manitowoc County Homemakers.
Survivors include her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Walter Kaufman and Mrs. Orville
Stephani of Manitowoc, Mrs. A.J. Mathies of Rt. 4, Manitowoc and Mrs. Edward Welch
of Grimms; three sons, Louis of Branch, David of Rt. 1, Manitowoc and William of
Rt. 4, Manitowoc; a brother, Louis Boyle of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. James Ovans
of Gresham, Wis.; 32 grandchildren. Friends may call after 3 pm Tuesday at the funeral
home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 pm.
