"Mrs. Laura Dent, 78, of 479 Woodland av. died Wednesday in Akron General Hospital. Born in Parkersburg, W. Va., Mrs. Dent lived in Akron 55 years. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. She leaves her husband Clyde Sr.; sons Clyde Jr. of East Liberty and Thomas of Waynesboro, Ga. ; daughters Mrs. Betty Anderson of Portage Lakes, Mrs. Violet Warner, Mrs. Jane Averill and Mrs. Gwendolyn Cooper, all of Akron, and Mrs. Wanda Kesserling of San Francisco; brother Joseph Hickembottom of Parkersburg; sister Mrs. Fannie McPhereson of Daytona Beach, and 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Billow Lakes Chapel with burial in Greensburg cemetery. Friends may call at the Billow Lakes Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m, Friday."
