Buchtel High School graduate, he received three citations for courageous action at French Northwest Africa, Salerno and Sicily in 1944. Born in Akron, he lived his entire life in the area. He was a member of the East Liberty EUB Church and was a real estate salesman for Krueger Realty Co. in Portage Lakes.
