Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Tanner, who died in a Houston hospital after a long illness, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Long Chapel C.M.E. Church with Rev. A. D. Thomas officiating, with interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Tanner was born in Tyler County, and was a resident of Lufkin for a number of years. She lived in Crosby with a son, Gilder Tanner, for the last 2 years. She was a member of the Methodist church an Order of the Eastern Stars.

Survivors include son, Gilder Tanner of Crosby; sister, Mrs. Rachel Welch of Sea Side, CA., 1 granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
