Donald D. Dowling,58,of the Wilroads Gardens community east of Dodge City was dead on arrival Friday, November 6,1970 at Trinity Hospital. He was taken there by ambulance after an apparent heart attack.

Donald was born Sept.4,1912 in the Wilroads community. He lived there all of his life and engaged in livestock and grain farming. He and Leona Wassing were married at Ford onApirl 19,1950.

Mr.Dowling was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include the widow,his mother, Mattie O. Dowling of the Hilltop House rest home in Bucklin,Ks; three brothers, Glen, Carl and Gilbert all of Dodge City and a sister, Mary Stout of Ford,Ks.

Funeral service was held at Barber-Dunsford Chapel with Rev. Fred H. Cowles officiating.
