Bradford Republican Jan 16, 1902 (at Bradford County Historical Society): Ellsworth died at home of son Platt in Windham. He was a lifelong resident of Windham Township and died at the home of his son, Platt, on Wednesday morning of last week, after suffering for many years with rheumatism. He leaves wife and two sons, Platt and William, neither of whom had issue. It is not known if his daughter Mary had married and had children, so it is possible this line ended with the death of Platt.

Also in Reporter Journal, Th, Jan 16, 1902: "Died Recently, Elmer Osborn, and old and respected citizen of Windham, died there on Jan 7, aged 71 years. He is survived by wife and two sons, Platt of Windham and William of Burlington."
