Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon at the American Ref. church for Henry M. Westra who passed away early Tuesday morning from a heart attack. Rev. A. Hook officiated at the services.
Mr. Westra was born March 11, 1901 at Orange City and married Minnie Mieras on June 20, 1926. There were no children born to this union.
Survivors include his widow; 2 brothers, John and Mitchell; 1 sister, Mrs. Lester Dykstra all of Orange City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister.
A memorial fund for Henry Westra is being donated towards the Heart Fund.
Among those coming from a distance to attend the funeral were Louis Mieras, Eddie Mieras, Sioux City; Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Oldenkamp, Herman Oldenkamp, Mrs. George Van Beek, Mr. and Mrs. John Dodewaard, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Vander Poel and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Miller all of Rock Valley, also attending were friends from Ireton, Sioux Center, Maurice and Alton.
