Mrs. Katherine Betz, a resident of Canton of 80 years, died early this morning at her home, 823 4th st NE, from infirmities of age. She was 94 years old.
She was the widow of George Betz and was a member of the Evangelical church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ecker of the home; a sister, Mrs. Pete Pierson; a grandson, Albert E. Ecker, a great-granddaughter and two great-great-granddaughters, all of Canton.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the home in charge of Rev. W. L. Naumann. Burial will be in Westlawn cemetery. The body is at the J.L. Arnold & Sons' parlors and will be taken to the home late Wednesday morning.
