DEATH OF MERRITT KIPP
~Merritt Kipp, whose serious illness has been mentioned, died at 6:00 o'clock last evening at his home in Marshall township after a five week illness of typhoid fever.
~Mr. Kipp was 72 years, 7 months, and three days old and was a native of Marshall township. he was twice married. His first wife dying nine years ago. He is survived by his wife and three children, Mrs. Lawrence Ellis of North Dakota, and Fred and Frank Kipp of Marshall township. He is also survived by three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Harriet Park of Marshall, Mrs. Theresa Warrick and Mrs. Daniel Farnum of Battle Creek, and Edward Kipp of Marshall township.

He is my 2nd gr-grandfather, Reuben's nephew. He is the son of Thomas and Eliza (Bean) Kipp. He married Nellie (?).
