Patricia "Patsy" Stewart Haines age 32 of Hillsboro, died Friday, December 28, 2001 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati where she had fought the battle and won the fight. She was born on October 1, 1969 in Greenfield, her parents of whom survives her. Patsy was a member of the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church, a member of the Children Organ Transplant Association and a 1987 Graduate of Fairfield High School, she had been employed by Candlelite in Leesburg and previously had been employed by the Times-Gazette, Frisch's Restaurant in Hillsboro, Johnson Controls in Greenfield, YUSA in Washington C.H. and the New Sabina Industries in Wilmington. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, , one daughter, of Hillsboro, one brother, a sister, several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Wilbur and Mabel Arledge, and her paternal grandparents Homer and Mabel Stewart. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 31 at 11 a.m. at the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church with Brothers Wiley Perkins and Mike Brown co-officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church in Samantha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be sent to COTA for Patsy Haines, 2501 COTA Dr., Bloomington, IN 47403 or Southern Ohio Chapter of Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 105 W. Fourth St., Suite 900. Cincinnati, Oh 45202. The Turner & Son Funeral Home of Hillsboro is serving the family.
