Arthur Bulldock Hill dies at 90, former vice president of J&J

NEW BRUNSWICK – Arthur Bullcock Hill, former vice president of sales and a member of the board, of directors of Johnson & Johnson, died yesterday in La Jolla, Calif. He was 90. Mr. Hill joined Johnson & Johnson in 1918 as a salesman in Dallas. In 1938, he was named vice president of sales for Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick. He retired from the company in 1948. He served for three years under President Eisenhower's secretary of the treasury as assistant for sales of U.S. Savings Bonds. He was also a member of the Board or Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. He was the husband of the late Marguerite Stewart Hill. Surviving are a daughter, Lee Snowdon of Manalapan, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at noon on Wednesday at the chapel of the Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church, Plainfield. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla, 92037.
