Barbara Bauer Albee, 81, of Enola passed away on April 19, 2013 at the Hershey Medical Center.

She was born in Attleboro, MA on April 2, 1932 to the late Richard and Bertha Bauer.

Barbara attended Attleboro High School, graduating in 1951.

She went on to earn a Certificate in Nursing from the Quincy City Hospital Nursing School.

Barbara worked as a Registered Nurse for Quincy City Hospital and Hartford Hospital until her retirement in 1985.

She was an active member of St. Stephens Episcopal Cathedral in Harrisburg, PA and was active in Episcopal Charities.

Barbara enjoyed golfing, walking, gardening, photography, bike riding, going to the theater, traveling, and snowmobiling.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Lester C. Albee; and, her sister: Evelyn.

Barbara is survived by her dear friend: Jack Smith of Enola; and, her three daughters: Barbaranne Humbert & husband Stanley, Terrilyn Broderick & husband Ronald, and Robin Broderick.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home in Harrisburg. A viewing will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. Reverend Beth Mollard will officiate.

Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
