CARPENTER, RALPH (JACK), age 61, County Line Rd., of Mooresburg, passed away at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital, November 18, after a brief illness. Preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette and son, Todd; parents, Will and Mertie Carpenter; sister, Hazel Lovin; brothers, Herbert, Kyle, and Willie. Survived by sons: David, Larry, Lynn, and Scott Carpenter and Donnie Carr; daughters, Debra Carpenter, Linda Valencia, Brenda Seal, Sharon Fuller and Phyllis Bunch; brothers, Major Carson and Hubert; sisters, Sara Gregg, Bonnie Waddell, and Edna Yount; several close friends. Family will receive friends and family from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 1998 at Stetzer Funeral Home, Morristown. Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Burial following at Meadow Branch Cemetery in Bean Station. Stetzer Funeral Home of Morristown in charge.
