She was raised in Troy and resided since 1944 in East Greenbush and was a graduate of Troy High School and Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Moeske was a librarian aide for the East Greenbush Central Schools, retiring 36 years ago and previously was a registered nurse at Samaritan Hospital for 10 years. She was active in the United Church of Christ of Clinton Heights and on the Vesry, a member of the Community Club and volunteered with the Girl Scouts, Little League and Red Cross blood drives. She enjoyed camping and trout fishing.
Survivors include a son, Carl (Royce) Moeske, Castleton; a daughter, Marion Farrell, Latham; her grandchildren, Mark Moeske, Stephen (Brenda) Moeske, Danielle (Rick) Bellows, Lisa (Jim) Dimenno and Dana and Neil Farrell; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Marion C. McLoughlin, Joseph W. Turner, Emma Goodman, Thomas R. Turner and Maud Gundrum.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. , 276 Pawling Avenue, Troy on Friday, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Deacon Karl Griswold-Kuhn, Rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Kinderhook, officiating.
Interment will be in Memory Garden, Colonie. The family wishes to thank the staff of the North Greenbush Eddy Daybreak Program. Also, special thanks to her devoted caregiver, Marlene.
