Mrs. Olaf Thone, 73, died Sunday night at the homestead farm near Clarks Mills.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. from the Berge funeral home, Valders, and at three o'clock from the Gerjpen Lutheran church, the Rev. E. A. Fretheim officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Thone, the former Carrie Moe, was born near Northfield, Minn., and moved to Cato in 1888.

She was married to Mr. Thone January 29, 1890 and located on the present homestead farm. The couple observed their golden wedding last January, at which the couple's eight sons and daughters were present. Mr. Thone died in April.

Survivors are three sons, Ray and Gordon of Cato and Orin of Suring, Wis.; five daughters, Mrs. Peter Robley, and Mrs. Olaf Olson of Cato, Mrs. Emma Miller of Suring, Mrs. Norman Anderson of this city, Mrs. Otis Karstad of Valders; sister, Mrs. Trubert Allen of Stockbridge, Wis., and 34 grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
