She was a native of Pleasant Gap, Ala. but had resided in Ware County since 1987. She was married to the late Richard Levi Keown and was a daughter of the late Raney Wright and Mary Louise Morgan Wright. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lizziebell Willingham and Ester Boozer; two brothers, Arthur Wright and Russell Wright.
Mrs. Keown was a member of Victory Methodist Church .
The survivors include a daughter, Annette Booth (husband Talmadge) of Manor; a granddaughter, Daphne Booth of Manor; two grandsons, Bert Booth (wife Christina) and Richard Booth both of Manor; a step great grandson, Donovan Florio; a sister, Vera Stalvey of Covington; four brothers, Jack Wright and Wesley Wright both of Rome, Ed Wright of Ringgold, Otis Wright of Canada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Victory Methodist Church. Burial will be in Victory Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Saturday night from 5 until 7 o'clock. The family request special friends and caregivers at Satilla Care Center to meet at the church at 1:40 p.m. Sunday to serve as honorary pallbearers.
