Mrs. Sally Eads Mullins of 120 Hardin Place, Lebanon, Kentucky, formerly of the Acton community in Taylor County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Robert Thomas Eads and Mrs. Martha Bowen Eads, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, March 18, 1894. She died at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 1973, at the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville. She had been a patient there for the past three and one half months. She was 78 years of age. She professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. Henry Peters on January 30, 1919. He preceded her in death December 14, 1939. She united in marriage to Mr. William Mullins on February 27, 1951. He preceded her in death in November 1966. She is survived by two step-sons and two step-daughters: Mr. Paul Mullins of Lebanon, Ky., Mr. Joe Mullins of New Haven, Mrs. S. E. Howard and Mrs. Elmer Mason, both of Louisville; one brother: Mr. H.C. Eads of Fontana, California; and two half-sisters: Mrs. Pauline Ash of Louisville and Mrs. Naomi Thilmony of Buckley, Illinois; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, in the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Hardin Hosey. Burial was in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Fletcher Phillips, Merlin Phillips, Henry Phillips, Robert D. Phillips, Fred Russell, and Rosby Wright.
