PINE KNOB (RNS) - Albert (Ab) Peters, 82, of Pine Knob died at his home Thursday afternoon after a long illness.

He was a retired coal miner.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy; a son, Dayton Peters of Montcoal; seven daughters, Mrs. Dane Bolen of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Fred Bradley of Stickney, Mrs. Cody Dickens of Pine Knob, Mrs. Bill Clemons of Glen Daniel, Mrs. Everette Cook of Whitesville, Mrs. Jane Dickens of Cleveland, Ohio, and Miss Effie Peters, at home; two brothers, Andrew and Everette Peters, and a sister, Mrs. Al Pettry, all of Pine Knob, 25 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the New Hope Church of Pine Knob with the Rev. Wade Webb and the Rev. Willie August in charge. Burial will be in the Dickens Cemetery at Pine Knob.

The body will be taken from Armstrong Funeral Home in Whitesville to the home at 5 p.m. today.
