War of 1812 veteran. Youngest son of Jacob Wiederwachs and Catherine GRAUBERGER, grandson of Johann Andreas Wiederwachs (immigrant) and Anna EDELI, great grandson of Johann Henrich Christophel Wiederwachs and his first wife, Anna Dorothea?. Johann Henrich Christophel Wiederwachs and son Johann Andreas were both Palatine immigrants to Dutchess Co., NY before June, 1710.

David Weatherwax married 1. Anna HAMMOND in 1810. They had four children: John Sebastian Weatherwax (1811-1878, married 1. Malinda Jane "Jane" HADGEN, 2. Mary E. BRANCH); Amos H. Weatherwax (1813-?); Hiram Weatherwax (circa 1820-?); and Cornelia Weatherwax (1826-?) David married 2. Susan Albina HAMMOND (1812-1888, also buried in this cemetery) on 25 March, 1840. Their children were: Issachor H. Weatherwax (1844-1929, married Mary Rosetta "Zettie" GOULD); Albina L. Weatherwax (1845-1914, twin, married 1. Melvin B. HATHAWAY, 2. E. C. YOUNG); Alzina Weatherwax, twin, (1845-1916, married Lucene BUCK); and Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Weatherwax (1848-1867, also buried in this cemetery, died young of typhoid, never married.)
